TEAM, the world leading designer and manufacturer of modern passenger boarding bridges for cruise and ferry terminals has been honoured last Wednesday at the Venezia Terminal Passeggeri as the Winner of the Supplier of the Year Award 2008 in the Second Annual Seatrade Insider Cruise Awards.

The Award was presented to Jordi Floreta, Vice President & Managing Director of TEAM by Mary Bond, Editor of Seatrade Magazine, Award sponsor Erkunt Oner, CEO of Tura Turizm and Tony Heuer, President of Fidelio Cruise, principal sponsor of the 2008 Awards during the cocktail reception of the Seatrade Med 2008 Cruise &
Superyacht Convention in Venice, Italy.

Recognizing "any firm or individual who has provided a exceptional quality service/or quality supplies to cruise lines/builders/ports etc over the past 12 months,” the Award was determined by a judging panel of industry executives, members of Seatrade Insider's global editorial team, cruise consultants, analysts and association experts from around the world.

Out of 40 entries for the Seatrade Insider Cruise Awards 2008, TEAM was selected winner in the category Supplier of the Year for its outstanding efforts in providing 14 modern passenger boarding bridges to new and upgraded cruise and ferry terminals around the world in the past 12 months.
