UK luxury ground transportation specialist First Class Cars has sealed a business partnership agreement with leading private jet charter operator London Executive Aviation (LEA). Effective immediately, First Class Cars is the preferred chauffeur drive supplier for ground transfers for LEA’s clientele all over the UK. LEA has bases at London City, Farnborough, London Luton, London Stansted, Biggin Hill and Stapleford. First Class Cars has bases at London Luton and most recently, Stansted.
First Class Cars CEO, Graham Coate, said: “LEA is extremely established in the business aviation sector with a range of business aircraft types from the latest long range Falcon 900EX and Legacy 600 to the Cessna Citation Mustang VLJ and we’re delighted to be their preferred supplier of chauffeur drive services for their discerning clientele. In this current climate we recognise the need to work together to maximise every opportunity. This is an excellent way for us to work effectively with LEA, utilising both our databases to mutual benefit.”
George Galanopoulos, Managing Director of LEA, commented, “While our business is aviation, our real objective is to provide seamless end-to-end travel that surpasses the expectations of our clients. Working with First Class Cars means we can offer ground-based transportation on a par with our world class jet fleet. With our shared commitment to service and professionalism, I am sure this will prove a successful partnership.”
As part of the agreement, the First Class Cars fleet will display LEA’s literature and brochures and LEA’s aircraft will carry details of First Class Cars’ luxury chauffeur driven vehicles. Website links between the two companies will also be established to maximise the relationship.
First Class Cars owns a 35-strong fleet of vehicles including the S-Class Mercedes saloon, Mercedes Viano, Chrysler Grand Voyager, Bentley Continental Flying Spur, plus a brand new addition to the fleet, the Rolls-Royce Phantom. All vehicles in its fleet are immaculate in sleek black and beautifully appointed inside with sumptuous leather and wood finish.
Marking its tenth anniversary next year, First Class Cars uses a state-of-the-art vehicle tracking system, which provides updates of vehicle positions every 60 seconds. “Upon taking a call, we can despatch a vehicle within two to three minutes and have the flexibility to manage vehicle movements effectively, avoiding any unexpected delays.” Also, key to serving the demanding business jet market, the company uses a sophisticated flight tracking system, enabling it to monitor the precise arrival times of jets, saving clients and charter brokers waiting time and cost.
Headquartered at London Luton Airport, FCC serves fixed based operations (FBO) clients based at the airport. Six months ago the company opened a new facility at London Stansted Airport, a decision taken in response to the airport’s growing popularity for business aviation. Here, First Class Cars is supporting the FBOs and a number of privately owned jets.
