Honor and Glory Executive Travel Services, in partnership with Royal Caribbean International, will sponsor the first annual Memorial Day Fundraiser Cruise for the Make-A-Wish Foundation onboard the Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas from May 24 to 31, 2009. Reservations are now open for this fundraiser cruise, which provides a perfect gift opportunity for loved ones.
The goal of the 2009 Memorial Day Fundraiser Cruise is to raise $25,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by reserving over 250 cabins by March 5, 2009. The 2009 cruise offers a round-trip itinerary from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and will visit the islands of Antigua, Barbados, Barbuda, St. Croix, St. Lucia, and St. Maarten on an exotic 7-night Southern Caribbean cruise. Well appointed cabins are currently available at a great value, and an airfare package and 4-star hotel pre-night stay are being offered as well.
Often parents give gifts that lose their excitement the very next day. This fundraiser cruise opportunity is an excellent way to give our children the lasting gift of compassion by providing them the chance to take a vacation and help other children with needs .
We are thrilled to be working with Alishah Kier who is a professional travel expert and always well represents our brand. Kier has developed a program that not only benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation with its fundraising efforts, but allows consumers to enjoy a cruise vacation that enhances the lives of the Make-A-Wish children
Alishah Kier, owner of Honor and Glory Executive Travel Services, an independently affiliated travel agency of America's Vacation Center, has focused a large portion of her business on cruises for non-profit organizations and has spearheaded several major fundraiser cruises with Royal Caribbean International that have been phenomenally successful. Kier first became acquainted with Royal Caribbean International's dedication to the Make-A-Wish Foundation during an onboard benefit auction and was inspired to become involved and help this worthy cause.
"Often parents give gifts that lose their excitement the very next day. This fundraiser cruise opportunity is an excellent way to give our children the lasting gift of compassion by providing them the chance to take a vacation and help other children with needs," said Kier.
Kier plans to organize Make-A-Wish Foundation Fundraiser Cruises with Royal Caribbean International for the next five years and hopes to raise at least $150,000 at the end of that process.
"We are thrilled to be working with Alishah Kier who is a professional travel expert and always well represents our brand. Kier has developed a program that not only benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation with its fundraising efforts, but allows consumers to enjoy a cruise vacation that enhances the lives of the Make-A-Wish children," said Vicki Freed, Senior Vice President of Sales, Trade and Support Services for Royal Caribbean International.
