.travel comments on private sale of answers.travel
Thursday, January 15, 2009
Tralliance, the .travel Registry, has received many inquiries regarding a press release describing a private sale of the “answers.travel” domain name for $3.3 million.

The Registry is not involved in the secondary market of .travel names and has no knowledge of the transaction other than the press release.  In addition, the Registry issues a correction saying that the Registry was launched in the second half of 2005 not 2004 as the January 13, 2009 press release stated.
