Situated on the finest stretch of Barbados’ West Coast, Elegant Hotels Group’s Colony Club Hotel has garnered the coveted American Automobile Association’s (AAA) Four-Diamond Award for 2010.
“It is a true privilege to receive this honor,” said Gayle Talma, General Manager for Colony Club Hotel. “We are proud that AAA has awarded the resort for our upscale facilities, attentive service and overall commitment to the guest experience and our renewing atmosphere. This year, we look to maintain our integrity and further exceed expectations.”
AAA’s Four-Diamond Award is defined as a hotel that meets or exceeds the following description: “exceptional, significantly exceeding requirements in the physical and operational categories of judgment; offers luxurious accommodations, as well as extra amenities; the management and staff, housekeeping and maintenance rank well above the average”. The American Automobile Association’s system of awards includes ratings from one to five diamonds. Only four percent of the estimated 31,000 AAA Rated lodgings were awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation for 2010.
