Golf Management Europe and EGCOA sign agreement to cooperate
Tuesday, January 27, 2009
The golf business magazine Golf Management Europe and the European Golf Course Owners Association have signed an agreement at the 3rd European Golf Business Conference in Berlin. In the future, the EGCOA will get coverage in every issue of Golf Management Europe and the magazine will be sent to all members of the EGCOA.

Golf Management Europe has firmly established itself as the leading pan-European business magazine for the golf industry since its launch in 1997. Golf club development remains the underlying objective of the magazine and with a dedicated readership in excess of 5,200 golf clubs, the title delivers a targeted circulation-base. Read by proprietors, general managers, secretaries, directors of golf and head greenkeepers throughout the UK and Europe, no other trade publication treats the golf business quite as seriously.

The European Golf Course Owners Association provides services to support golf course owners in their aims, represents their interests and improve the golf business on a European level. The EGCOA supports the owners by spreading and sharing knowledge.

“This cooperation is a good thing in many ways. Sharing information is vital for the golf business and our magazine provides the information members of the EGCOA need”, says Michael Lenihan of GME.

“No better way of sharing information than by this magazine”, added Lodewijk Klootwijk, CEO of the EGCOA. “Working together with GME magazine gives our organization another tool to share knowledge about important business issues”.

The 3rd European Golf Business Conference in Berlin was a perfect event for signing the agreement. A total of 240 European decision makers in golf gathered; golf course owners, golf managers, directors of golf, suppliers, representatives of national and European golf bodies, golf course architects and industry partners witnessed the signing of the cooperation.
