Introducing two new promotions for passengers wishing to travel to the US before Easter, American Airlines is demonstrating its support for UK travel agents by making one of the offers available exclusively offline. Available only through travel agents or by calling AA reservations on 020 7365 0777, the first promotion offers customers the chance to experience the high life through complimentary one-way upgrades from Business to First Class.

The promotion is valid for customers booking and completing travel to select US destinations from London Heathrow on eligible business class fares by 1 April 2009. The upgrade is subject to availability on either the inbound or outbound sector of valid itineraries and customers must request ‘business class to first class one-way upgrade offer’ at the time of booking. Online reservations will not be eligible and for full terms and conditions, visit www.aa.com/offers. Agencies will receive instructions on how to book the offer via their GDS.

In addition to the upgrade offer, passengers will also be able to benefit from thousands of American Airlines AAdvantage Frequent Flyer bonus miles. Up to 100,000 AAdvantage bonus miles can be earned when passengers fly at least two return trips on qualifying fares between London Heathrow, Manchester or Dublin and the US. The offer is open to passengers travelling in all classes and to qualify, passengers must pre-register at www.aa.com/offers using the code LON09, with travel booked and completed by 31 March 2009.
