A new Board of Directors and Executive Board were installed to lead the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Greater New York Chapter activities, educational events and charitable fundraising for 2009.

The Executive Board will be headed up by newly installed President Markus Boeker, Senior Market Manager, Americas for Orbitz Worldwide. The other officers include:
- Immediate Past President, Brenda Fields-Malone, Owner of Fields & Company.
- Vice President of Marketing Lou Zameryka, Senior Account Manager, Booking.com.
- Vice President of Member Services William Viggiani, Director of Sales, Doubletree Hotel, Mahwah, N.J.
- Vice President of Professional Development Frank J. Stapleton, President of the Monarch Group.
