The travel agent portal is online
Monday, February 09, 2009
In the spring of 2008, APG Global Associates (APG-GA) introduced the APG Interline E-Ticketing (APG IET) program to airlines worldwide. Thanks to a partnership with the scheduled airline Heli Air Monaco (YO-747), this program permits airlines to 1.) validate tickets on YO-747 in 81 BSPs and ARC, thereby widening their marketing reach and 2.) access to the growing pool of Interline carriers that have joined the APG IET program.

APG IET is open to all IATA and non IATA scheduled airlines, under the sole condition that they are “E-Ticketing eligible” on GDS. Since the launch of APG IET, more than 20 airlines have already joined the program:

Aerolineas Argentinas (AR 044), Afriqiyah Airways(8U 546), Air Burkina (2J 226), Air Madagascar (MD 258), Air Namibia (SW 186), Air Senegal International (V7 407), Air Uganda (U7 926), Antrak Air (O4 916), Atlasjet Airlines (KK 610), Compagnie Aerienne du Mali (I5 261), Conviasa (V0 308), Daallo Airlines (D3 991), Eurofly (GJ 736), Baboo (F7 033), Hewa Bora Airways (EO 663), Hong Kong Airlines (HX 851), Hong Kong Express Airways (UO 128), Meridiana (IG 191), SATA Air Acores (SP 737), SATA International (S4 331), Transaero Airlines (UN 670).

To guide and inform travel agents worldwide, APG-GA has recently launched its APG IET Portal. The portal is online and can be visited at www.apgiet.com. On this portal, the travel agents will find information about APG IET and guidelines of how to issue Interline E-Tickets on the partner airlines and validate on Heli Air Monaco (YO-747).
