Thursday, February 26, 2009
TripAtlas.com, the world’s largest travel portal with more than 500,000 unique visitors monthly, has launched an innovative travel planning tool called Trip Builder that will save consumers time and money and provide a much needed human element to booking travel online.  TripAtlas.com is the world’s largest online network with 104,300 global travel professionals - all ready to respond to inquiries from consumers looking to plan their next business or leisure trip.

“We have developed a user-friendly and secure environment for consumers to contact TripAtlas Pros from around the world and assist them in organizing their trip and obtaining the best possible rates,” explained Travis Snelling, general manager of TripAtlas.com. “More importantly we have added a human element to Trip Builder.    Consumers can actually engage in online discussions with TripAtlas Pros for ideas and suggestions on restaurants, hotels, tours, etc. - something they can’t get with traditional online travel agencies (OTA’s) like Expedia or Travelocity."

Simplicity rules for consumers accessing TripAtlas.com’s vast network and to begin planning their trip.  Go to TripAtlas.com, click on Trip Builder on the upper navigation bar and it will bring you to the Trip Builder page. There are different fields to fill out depending on your trip needs such as: Trip Name, Leaving from, Going to, When, Name, Email and a Message/Itinerary comment box to provide some additional details. There are a few optional boxes you can click - What services do you require, Length of Trip, Approximate Budget, number of people. Then just click submit. In only a minute or two your trip request is done - no frustrating time-outs, trying to save various itineraries or spending endless time at numerous travel sites. TripAtlas Pros will then respond to your request and provide rates and information via email (phone is an option if you leave your phone number but it is not required).

It’s important to note - no one has access to your email address - TripAtlas Pros contact you via a simple web based form and you are notified when you have a response. When you receive a response, simply click on the link in the email and then you can enter into a private, anonymous discussion with the TripAtlas Pro.
