Renowned as an upscale hideaway on the luxurious Grand Anse Beach, Spice Island Beach Resort in Grenada was chosen as a featured location for the 2009 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. The multi-page spread features top models photographed at various locations throughout the resort.
 
Spice Island Beach Resort hosted the Sports Illustrated crew for a six-day photo shoot with four top models including Brooklyn Decker, Irina Shayk, Julie Henderson and Jessica White.  Photographer Rennio Maifredi utilized the picture-perfect white-sand beaches and tropical sun over Grand Anse Beach to create a magnificent backdrop for the multi-page spread.

Each model was featured in a "hand-painted" bathing suit by Bodypainter Joanne Gair for LBB Artist Management, using Body Art Products by Reel Creations, INC and Tinsley Make Up FX Studio.
