To provide guidance to the trade during the recession
ABTA to offer Recession Toolkit for travel agents
Wednesday, March 04, 2009
The toolkit - which will be available on ABTA.com from March 16 - will point agents to useful information on the association's website and direct them to ABTA's partner companies. The information will cover subjects such as technology, human resources, marketing and legal compliance.

A spokeswoman for ABTA said: "This will be a collection of really helpful hints and advice for agents on how to protect their business during the recession. We find that members can greatly benefit from using our travel partners as they save them money as well as providing an easy way of getting to the experts."

The latest partners to join ABTA are Rough Guides, Visit St Petersburg & Clearwater, Insurance4carhire.com and Smith & Williamson.
