The event is going to be rescheduled in 2010
General Aviation Middle East (GAME-09) postponed
Monday, March 23, 2009
UK and Dubai-based MIU Events, in association with GAME conference partners Dubai Airports, regret to announce the cancellation of this year's planned General Aviation in the Middle East (GAME) conference, which had been scheduled for April 6/7.

The good news is that the event is going to be rescheduled in 2010 when the global economy is predicted to start improving. This year, with just three weeks to go, delegate registrations were insufficient to ensure the event would produce the debate and discussion that makes this conference such a useful tool for those in the industry.

The organisers would like to apologise to all participants who had committed and hope to see them again at next year’s event.  At this point the new Al Maktoum Airport in Jebel Ali will have been open for six months, predicted to be one of the world’s largest aviation hubs.

MIU events has other aviation meetings scheduled for this year including FAME, Financing Aviation in the Middle East 2009 in Abu Dhabi, 4/5 May – which is progessing well; Very Light Jets Europe in Barcelona 24/25 September and Very Light Jets in Latin America and the Caribbean, 26/27 November. For further information about these events and the planned programmes please visit http://www.miuevents.com/
