The Heavenly Spa by Westin at The Westin Beijing Financial Street has been recognized by the Asia Spa & Wellness Festival 2009 Gold Awards as the “Best Hotel Spa - China”.  

The Asia Spa & Wellness Festival 2009 Gold Awards celebrate the pioneering spirit of Asian spas and wellness centers. It is the region’s most prestigious awards recognizing outstanding and innovative achievements and extraordinary acts by spas, wellness centers and resorts across the region.

Nominees are subjected to a strict judging process comprising of an operational analysis and stringent criteria. The criterion includes such considerations as length of operations, ambience and environment, treatments range and quality, professionalism and standards of service and other qualitative and quantitative criteria.

The award was presented during the Asia Spa & Wellness Festival 2009 Gala Dinner on 21 March 2009 at the Landmark Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand whereby the spa will receive the coveted Gold Awards Trophy and certificate of achievement.

In November 2008 the Heavenly Spa by Westin won its very first accolade, and was voted “Favorite Hotel Spa - Asia” by SPA Magazine’s Sliver Sage Readers Choice Awards 2008 by more than 59,000 voters.
