Increase in demand for the island this summer
Libra Holidays adds new departure to Crete for Summer 2009
Monday, March 30, 2009
An increase in demand for the island of Crete this summer has led to Libra Holidays adding extra capacity and introducing an additional departure from Gatwick to Heraklion. The new flight operates on a weekly basis departing every Sunday from 12th July until 27th September 2009.

Peter Kyriakou, Head of Aviation & Yield at Libra Holidays, commented “The island of Crete remains a top seller for Libra Holidays. However, an increase in demand for the island during this years peak summer period, has resulted in us introducing an additional Sunday departure, in order to increase capacity and meet market demand.”
