In May this year, Corvinus International company will open Capital Plaza hotel, 4 star classified in Bucharest. The hotel targets business segment. Construction works took over 2 years and the investment reached EUR 9 mil.

According to the data provided by the Trade Register, the shareholders of Corvinus International company are Mugur Chifulescu, Dumitru Popa, Riza Nicolae and Valentin Nedelea. The four shareholders own equal participations within the company.

The hotel is located near Victoriei Square and comprises 95 rooms and apartments, outdoor window elevators, atrium, “Kubler” cafe, “1880” restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine, terrace, reunion and event center which can be modulated from six to two rooms or outdoor space. The full capacity is 450 persons for reunions, respectively 600 persons for receptions. The hotel also includes a Business Center, free wireless Internet access, fitness hall and underground parking.

The representatives of the company stated they don’t plan to affiliate the hotel to an international chain in the next years and neither to sell.

Capital Plaza is a project developed on a historical location - at the end of XIX century, around 1880, this was the limit of Bucharest city and was called at the time “Herastrau Barrier”.
