Spa tops Cheapflights.co.uk poll of dream plane facilities, with daycare facilities close behind
Cheapflights.co.uk unveils the British public's ultimate plane

Cheapflights.co.uk conducted a poll of 1,350 respondents with 28% opting for first-class pampering to get them in the holiday mood. Onboard spa facilities were preferred by over a quarter of respondents, eager to start their holiday relaxed and raring to go.

Checking in at second place, 24% of the British public cried out for a child care centre. Whether the voters were exhausted parents or travellers wary of having their flight disturbed by enthusiastic and active children, the childcare centre would let adults enjoy their flight child-free.

Banned from public places in the UK, smokers have rallied together to wish for a mile-high dedicated smoking area, with 12% seeking a zone to light up.

“The results show the British public care just as much about their journey as they do their destination,” says Francesca Ecsery, General Manager of Cheapflights.co.uk. “Given the recent headlines about lost luggage, stagnant queues and hidden charges, it is no surprise that passengers are fantasising about a pain-free, dream flight.”

Surprisingly, a circus of trapeze artists came in fourth at 10%, followed by a sun deck for beach bunnies to begin bronzing, an onboard gym for a last-ditch attempt at perfecting a six-pack, a casino where lucky passengers can double their holiday budget, and an onboard cinema complete with popcorn and ice-cream.
