Arsenal Park Transilvania, the first exclusive resort in Romania, will open in middle June. The resort is controlled by Marius and Emil Cristescu businessmen. The complex is 4 star classified, has 150 bed places in apartments and villas and a conference hall of 200 seats. Opening the resort corresponds to the completion of first phase of a total investment of EUR 20 mil.

The second phase of investment implies setting up a hotel complex which will include 25 exclusive villas, developed on 1 ha distance between each other and connected by a golf course. The total capacity will be 400 bed places when investments complete.

Marius Cristescu, president of the board of administration of Bega Group estimates for this year an occupancy rate of 30%, the corporate segment representing the highest share. The complex is developed in Orastie on the location of a former munitions warehouse.
