Davies Tanner, the specialist business and leisure tourism PR agency, will be one of this year’s sponsors of the prestigious Scottish Event Awards. With their third office having opened in Edinburgh last year, Davies Tanner has a vested interest in continuing to support the Scottish event community. In addition to sponsoring the awards Sue O’Gorman, Marketing Director of the global PR agency will be sitting on the judging panel alongside David Sharpe, Managing Director of the London Eye, Zoe Watts, Head of Events and Catering at The Natural History Museum and Claire Lawson, Commercial Director of The Grove.

Now in their second year, the Scottish Event Awards identify outstanding Scottish based event companies, promoters, suppliers and in-house events teams as well as recognising exceptional events held in the region including conferences, exhibitions and corporate hospitality.

The 2009 Scottish Event Awards will be taking place at Glasgow's Hilton hotel on 11 September.
