The Tourism Contact Center at the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) received the Award for Best Tourism Communication Center Performance in the Middle East in 2009. The award was granted by ‘Insights International Organization’ for the best internal development to implement the customer service system. 

HRH President of SCTA has received the award at SCTA's headquarters in the presence of the Vice President of Marketing and Media Mr. Abdulla Bin Al-Jehani, Dr. Fahad Al Jarbou, Assistant of President for Marketing and Ibrahim Al Kreda, General Director of Domestic Marketing.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Jehani, explained that the award exemplifies SCTA's successful efforts, and development of its information and interactive programs. Adding that, highly developed, fast information services in our time are important  requirements for domestic tourists, who are aware of the importance of the tourism nowadays. The Tourism Contact Centre (TCC) provides a 24 hours service which includes providing information about tourism services, festivals, sites, special offers of hotels, tourism resorts, car rentals, restaurants throughout the Kingdom, telemarketing, planning trips, tourism events as well as other various services through its website (www.tcc.gov.sa) and toll free number (8007550000).
