Graeme Barnett, CIBTM Exhibition Director commented: “We are delighted to be working with China Star to deliver CIBTM. We wanted to work with a company that understands the Meetings industry on an international level, but equally has significant experience in the fast developing meetings sector across China and locally in Beijing. China Star have made a significant contribution to the detailed planning already in place for CIBTM and their experience and knowledge will be invaluable in helping to create a successful and memorable event.”

“It is a great honour for China Star to work with Reed Travel Exhibitions as the official DMC for CIBTM 2009. Our motto “Serving the People Whole-heartedly” - a quotation from our former leader Mao Zedong - will be at the forefront of all our team members’ minds, when working on CIBTM, in order to be able to help China to deliver productive events within the meetings and incentives industry. "We see our role as ambassadors between China and the international audience attending CIBTM and we aim to help to build strong relationships for a successful future meetings industry in China”, commented Liu Ping, CEO of China Star.

During the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China Star received more than 4500 foreign visitors including Olympic Committee members, national teams and official sponsors.
