TMS Academy and the
Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) have signed an industry partnership agreement enabling the recruitment specialist to provide the influential organisation’s global membership base with a range of its ‘TMS Academy’ hospitality and tourism sector training programs.
Announcing the agreement at the ACTE Educational Conference in Singapore, TMS CEO
Andrew Chan said that under the agreement TMS now has the ability to offer its training programs directly to the organisation’s more than 6000-strong membership base located in over 80 countries.
The TMS Academy curriculum, he said, includes a range of comprehensive, qualification-based training programs focusing on corporate travel, F&B, revenue management and personal development.
Under the agreement, ACTE has also offered to provide a scholarship award opportunity for one trainee per TMS course programme to attend the 2010 Asia-Pacific Education Conference in Singapore.
Mr Chan said the agreement further substantiated the hospitality and tourism recruitment specialist’s stance in the executive training sector.
“The courses we will be providing to ACTE have been designed to place a strong focus on the practical skills and real-world expertise relevant in today's fast-paced travel, tourism and hospitality landscape,” he said. “We are obviously delighted to be signatories to this agreement.
“The TMS Academy is now in position to provide a supportive and encouraging environment of resourceful peer-to-peer learning for ACTE members looking to up skill and transform themselves into skilled, globally employable professionals.
“This again further demonstrates how TMS is constantly evolving its overall product offerings to reflect changing needs within the sector.”
