JetBlue becomes ARC participating carrier
Wednesday, August 26, 2009
JetBlue Airways (B6) has signed on to be an ARC-participating carrier with sales beginning in 2010. ARC is a technology solutions company providing transaction settlement and data information services. In doing so, they join an all-time record number of airlines that are leveraging ARC's settlement and technology solutions to broaden their ticket distribution.

"In order to optimize new distribution technologies and accommodate our growing business travel market, we are pleased to join ARC to offer agents and their clients' efficient access to JetBlue flights and services," said Noreen Courtney-Wilds, JetBlue vice president, Sales.

ARC's Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Customer Care, Mike Premo, adds that "We are delighted to see a carrier as important as JetBlue create an eticket solution that permits them to take full advantage of the world's single largest travel agency market. At the same time, ARC's more than 18,000 accredited travel agencies gain significant and valuable carrier content."

Jet Blue's participation comes at a time when ARC carrier participation recently reached and exceeded all previous records. There are now 182 ARC participating carriers.
