Congrex is delighted to announce the appointment of Alain Pittet as new Regional Managing Director of Congrex Switzerland and Germany. From August 10, 2009, Alain will be responsible for the Congrex operational offices located in Basel, Berlin and Weil am Rhein.

Since September 1993, Alain Pittet was the Director of the Business Unit Trade Fairs and Exhibitions of Messe Schweiz. In this role he was responsible for 15 trade fairs in Zόrich and Basel and 35 staff. Additionally he was member of different boards and committees in the European Live Marketing Industry. Alain Pittet has continuously enhanced his industry knowledge with International General Management seminars in Switzerland, Germany and France as well as in the USA.
