APH discovers that the cost of passports has taken off
Thursday, September 03, 2009
With the cost of adult and child passports increasing from the 3rd September, Airport Parking and Hotels (APH) has put together a table highlighting these new costs so that savvy travellers will know the knew fees and what options exist if they leave it late to apply or renew. The table is available in the Know Before You Go section of the website at www.aph.com/news/costofukpassports.htm.

The table displays the new fees that apply from the 3rd September 2009 as well as the different passport applications and the length of time needed to obtain a passport. The cost of an adult passport will increase by £5.50, while the price of a child’s passport will increase by £3.00. The table also includes the cost of using the Fast Track or Premium services which will rise by £15.50, taking the cost of a renewed passport on a same day service to as much as £129.50.

Nick Caunter, managing director of Airport Parking and Hotels says: “APH is dedicated to providing a quality travel information service and it is important that travellers know about the rise in passports fees and passport application information so they can plan ahead to avoid any holiday cancellations”.

Airport Parking and Hotels Ltd has over 20 years' experience as a retailer of pre-booked airport parking and travel extras. It offers parking at 24 UK airports, ports and Eurotunnel terminals plus airport hotels packaged with parking, airport lounges, travel insurance, car hire and holiday taxis.
