1001 Rooms, seven restaurants and a unique dine-around programme
Jaz Hotels, Resorts & Cruises opens its new Star on the Red Sea Riviera
Wednesday, September 30, 2009
Jaz Hotels, Resorts & Cruises has announced the much anticipated opening of its largest hotel development on Egypt’s Red Sea Riviera, the luxury five-star Iberotel Aquamarine Resort, located just outside Hurghada. Featuring 1001 rooms catering to families, couples and singles, the new hotel immediately increases the company’s Red Sea portfolio to 18 properties.

All 1001 air-conditioned luxury rooms, which include 271 Family Rooms, 646 Superior Rooms, 70 Executive Rooms and 14 Suites, are well equipped with modern amenities including wireless internet access, while a key feature of the resort is the dine-around all-inclusive programme across its seven restaurants.

Peter Grace, Jaz Hotels. Resorts & Cruises Regional Vice President Sales & Marketing, UK & Ireland, said, “Iberotel Aquamarine represents one of our most ambitious hotel projects to-date; it comes at an exciting time for the company which is currently undergoing a huge expansion programme across the region; Hurghada is one of the most sought after Red Sea resorts in Egypt and we are confident that the high quality dine around all-inclusive programme will be a key attraction for visitors and the trade alike.”

With the emphasis on luxury and relaxation, guests have a range of facilities on hand to enjoy in this incredible beach-front complex.  Iberotel Aquamarine features four swimming pools, including two kid’s pools; tennis courts, a fully equipped gym, Health Club and Spa offering massage treatments, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi and a host of watersports on the beautiful unspoilt beach.

It is also a diver’s paradise. The area around Hurghada has an excellent reputation for its scuba diving and one of the best places for those wanting to learn to dive. The long stretch of coastline, pristine beaches and coral reef islands of Shadwan, Giftun and Gubal make this a diving destination par excellence, and Iberotel Aquamarine Resort's diving center offes full tuition and equipment to get guests started.

When it comes to cuisine and entertainment, guests are spoilt for choice with no less than seven exclusive restaurants serving an array of mouth-watering dishes including Egyptian, Lebanese, Italian, Asian and Seafood, as well as pool bars, a Shisha Bar and Disco.

Kids are well catered for with their own Kid’s Club, two swimming pools, games room and countless activities overseen by the resort’s own animation team, with a new water slide attraction proposed for 2010.

The extensive facilities also include the ‘Mercato’ shopping complex with a variety of gift and souvenir shops, a resident doctor, entertainment theatre and state of the art conference centre which can accommodate up to 1500 people.
