New marketing campaign
AVIVA Stadium Meetings & Events goes live
Wednesday, September 30, 2009
Dublin’s newest venue; The AVIVA Stadium, has launched avivastadiumevents.ie, as part of its marketing campaign to eradicate printed brochures and material and become one of the most sustainable venues in Ireland.

Key features of the new website include a flexible Event Planning Kit, which lets visitors plan their event down to the finest detail, reviewing everything from the space, room plans, and menus, to the venue dressing and entertainment, while a bespoke call back facility provides a tailored event design dependent on requirements.

Cailin Keaney, Sales and Marketing Manager at AVIVA Stadium explained; “People currently have little perception of how the Stadium will look and the facilities it will offer, which is why we have specifically designed the website with this in mind.”

She continued; “The stadium is in a great position to represent the very best of business tourism and also lead the way in sustainability through revolutionary marketing techniques and cutting edge technology.”

Instrumental in the design of the website, Ian Collis-Smith Managing Director of Fanatic Design added; “Recognising the importance of the stadium to Dublin and the various stakeholder groups, we wanted to create a site with the right mix of 'showcase' and 'intrigue' to develop a sense of excitement about the grand opening. The spirited nature of the building, the city and the brand has all been communicated via a strong mixture of graphics and careful copy writing.”

The AVIVA Stadium, due to open for business in May 2010 is one of a number of prestigious venues that form part of the Lime Venue Portfolio, a division of Compass Group UK & Ireland. Other venues in the portfolio include Twickenham, The O2 and The Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
