As a special thank you to travel agents for their ongoing support, Sandman Hotel Group is offering a cash incentive to their most loyal partners. Beginning immediately through December 31, 2009, for each reservation made, agents can register online allowing them to enter a draw. Each month, one lucky recipient will win $1,500 in cash, amounting to a total of $4,500 by the end of the year.

“We recognize that travel agents have long been some of our strongest supporters,” says Salim Kassam, Vice President of Marketing for Sandman Hotel Group. “Indeed, Sandman Hotel Group attributes part of our on-going success to the many travel agents who have, since the beginning, helped in promoting our collection of hotels. Our latest contest is as much a way of showing our appreciation as it is an incentive to continue to support reservations during this fall period.”

The contest comes on the heels of Sandman Hotel Group’s most recent addition. The Nelsen Lodge, a member of the Sandman Signature Hotels & Resorts collection, opened earlier this year and is heading into its first winter season. Located in Revelstoke, British Columbia, Phase one of the new 221-suite ski-in, ski-out hotel opened with 59 luxurious rooms offering breathtaking views of the Monashee Mountains. The remaining rooms are expected to be complete by 2011.

Coming soon in the near future are Sandman Hotel Group properties in Abbotsford, Langley, Kamloops and Prince George, British Columbia, and Calgary South and Edmonton South in Alberta.
