In an important shift, bmibaby has become the latest European Low Cost Airline to switch from a single supplier car rental model in favour of a fully fledged, retail minded multi-supplier offering from CarTrawler. The agreement, which was signed in UK last week, entails CarTrawler offering a rich mix of all the top car hire brands across all locations served by bmibaby to its customers across all online touch points on the award winning bmibaby.com website.
“bmibaby customers will be offered a car rental product in full knowledge that they are looking at an unrestricted, highly competitive view of the market - the supermarket approach whereby all options are offered in a transparent way at the best prices” commented Ian Stewart, Head of e-commerce and partnerships at bmibaby.
