Twice weekly Boeing 767 service between Hong Kong and Fiji
Air Pacific launch new Hong Kong Fiji Route
Thursday, October 29, 2009
On December 3 Air Pacific will launch their new twice weekly Boeing 767 service between Hong Kong and Fiji which is sure to boost UK visitor numbers to the South Pacific Islands. The airline selected Hong Kong as it is a major hub for services from the UK and Europe, as well as China and other Asian centres, and it represents a good economic opportunity for both Air Pacific and Tourism Fiji.
On behalf of Air Pacific’s Executive General Manager, Martin White and Tourism Fiji, we are inviting journalists to join us for lunch and a short presentation in central London from 12pm on Thursday 29th October.
Jane West, Tourism Fiji’s UK Representative is enthusiastic about Air Pacific’s new plans. ”We expect this new route to give added impetus to our marketing programme and it will encourage more UK holidaymakers to visit Fiji, with Hong Kong providing an ideal stopover opportunity for visitors to enjoy prior to heading to the South Pacific.”
The service will run on a Thursday and Saturday, with shared packages with Cathay Pacific, Virgin and British Airways from the UK.
