Carpatair launches second direct flight, from Bucharest to Bari - Italy

One month after launching the first direct flight from Bucharest to Ancona on October 2, 2009, Carpatair begins on October 27, 2009, operating direct flights from Bucharest to Bari.

For the period October 27 to November 30, flights will be operated with 2 frequencies per week, on Tuesdays and Sundays. Starting December the 3rd frequency will be added, on Thursdays. Newly introduced flights will have evening schedules and will complement already existing flight connections through Carpatair hub in Timisoara on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The schedule of the direct flights Bucharest (OTP) - Bari valid from October 27, 2009:
Tuesday, Thursday * Sunday: Bucharest (OTP) 17:15 Bari (BRI) 18:05 (local times)
Tuesday, Thursday * Sunday: Bari (BRI) 18:50 Bucharest (OTP) 21:35 (local times)
* Thursday frequencies will operate starting December 2009

Tickets can be purchased on-line, through Carpatair Call Center, and through ticketing agencies in Romania and Italy.

Flights will be operated with Saab 2000 aircrafts with a capacity of 50 seats and will offer passengers a comprehensive service, both in business class and economy class at very attractive prices.

Carpatair has its own hub in Timisoara, where there is also the headquarters of the company.

Carpatair has a fleet of 13 Saab 2000 aircraft with a capacity of 50 seats and 3 Fokker 100 aircraft with 105 seats each.
