Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, is strengthening its worldwide presence with the inauguration of a new sales office in Switzerland. AVIAREPS is opening the office and will act as Air Arabia’s General Sales Agent. Airlinecenter, AVIAREPS’ Swiss subsidiary with more than ten years of professional experience in airline representation, is partnering with Air Arabia for all sales, marketing and ticketing activities on behalf of the airline. The Zurich-based office will serve its customers with a multilingual call centre (English, French and German).

On 25 October 2009, Air Arabia started new services to Basel (Mulhouse) from the carrier’s hub in Casablanca, Morocco. Scheduled flights operate twice a week, each Friday and Sunday. Passengers travelling with the low-cost carrier from/to Basel fly with new Airbus A320s and pay as little as 64 Euro one way. Ticket sales have already started.

Air Arabia (Maroc), Morocco’s new low-cost carrier (LCC), was launched on 29 April 2009. The airline currently provides direct flights from its base in Casablanca to the cities of Marseilles, Brussels, Paris, Lyon, Milan, Bologna, Barcelona, Istanbul and Amsterdam.

Air Arabia’s fleet consists of brand-new Airbus A320 aircraft, which offer passengers the best economy configuration in the market with 32-inch seat pitch as well as all-inclusive luggage allowance. The carrier offers customers comfort, reliability, and value-for-money air travel from and into the Moroccan city of Casablanca.
