Livebookings offers the opportunity to eat out in top tier venues
Livebookings announces first Madrid Restaurantes Solidarios event
Friday, November 06, 2009
Livebookings, the online marketing experts for restaurants, announces the first Madrid Restaurantes Solidarios event. Running from 6th - 15th November, a number of the most prominent restaurants in the city, such as Dassa Bassa, Hakkasan, El Oliver de Ayala and La Buganvilla, will offer consumers special one-off prices, with 2 euros from each cover going towards the charity Action Against Hunger.

Working with Spanish booking partner Salir.com, Livebookings will offer those lucky enough to be in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities the opportunity to eat out in top tier venues at fantastic prices. Through the offer, diners can enjoy either a two course lunch or three course dinner for 25-35 euros.

Commenting on the announcement, Inaki Zarate Livebookings Country Manager - Spain, said: “We’re excited to be launching the first Madrid Restaurantes Solidarios. Meaning ‘united restaurants’, the event will work in a similar way to London Restaurant Week and we hope to give those staying in Madrid the opportunity to sample some of Madrid’s finest restaurants and not break the bank in the process.”

Through the event Livebookings expects to raise more than 2,000 euros for charity partner Action Against Hunger. The charity works closely with the food and hospitality industry across the globe, specifically restaurants and food producers, to help malnourished children and their families.

Jean Michel-Grand, Executive Director of Action Against Hunger, said: "We are delighted that Livebookings has chosen Action Against Hunger in helping to raise awareness and funds for our life-saving work to help children and their families, in over 40 of the poorest countries worldwide.”
