Thursday, November 12, 2009
Unique Venues of London (UVL), the marketing consortium consisting of some of the most iconic event spaces in the capital, is once again exhibiting at
EIBTM. In a stand share with
Visit London, UVL will promote its diverse member base, including St. Paul’s Cathedral, Museum of London, Hampton Court Palace and Westminster Abbey.
In its second year at the show, UVL will position its website and brochure as the first port of call for European buyers looking for venues in London, complete with added value and expertise in hosting major events. Running the stand during the show will be representatives from Somerset House and the Royal Horticultural Halls.
Lisa Hatswell Chairman of UVL and Sales and Corporate Events Manager at The Merlin Entertainments London Eye comments:
“Representing an array of diverse venues, each with an innovative element of added value, allows UVL to promote a truly original and unique experience of London to European event buyers. With Europe an expanding market for UVL we will be promoting our expertise, value and points of difference and look forward to generating some exciting leads for our 69 members”.
Maria Langshaw, Events Manager at Somerset House Trust comments:
“Somerset House has been a UVL member since the beginning. As a Grade I listed building with a rich and varied history, it is of great interest to both domestic and international visitors to the city. As such EIBTM is an important exhibition, both on an individual venue level, as well as for all UVL’s members”.
Maria added:
“EIBTM is my first experience of an oversees exhibition and I am looking forward to presenting some exciting event opportunities to a different audience, as well as promoting London, along with its unique venues, especially at a time of heightened focus on the city ahead of the 2012 Olympic Games”.
Unique Venues of London can be found at stand G110 throughout EIBTM, 1-3 December 2009.
