New Royal Air Maroc non-stop flights from Gatwick to Casablanca
Tuesday, November 24, 2009
Royal Air Maroc announces the launch of three new nonstop flights starting on 22 November 2009, from London Gatwick to its Casablanca hub at Mohamed V Airport.

On Mondays and Thursdays, flights will depart Casablanca at 8:25am, arriving into London Gatwick at 11:35am, whilst the return flights will depart London Gatwick at 12:25pm arriving into Casablanca for 3:45pm. On Sundays, the flight will depart Casablanca at 7:55am, arriving in London Gatwick at 11:05am. The return flight will depart London Gatwick at 11:55pm arriving in Casablanca at 3:10pm. This new service will become daily from summer 2010.

The new service will be operated with Boeing 737-800 aircrafts, seating 16 passengers in business and 141 passengers in economy.

Royal Air Maroc is pleased to further expand its network by linking London to its hub in Casablanca thus providing customers with increased connection opportunities between London and the rest of Morocco. Royal Air Maroc now has:
- 19 weekly connections to more than 5 cities in Morocco
- 11 weekly connections to 7 cities in Africa

These new flights from London Gatwick add to Royal Air Maroc’s existing daily flights from Heathrow, brining their total number of weekly direct flights from London to Morocco to 17:
- 10 flights to Casablanca
- 5 flights to Marrakech
- 2 flights to Tangiers

Once in Casablanca, holidaymakers and city trippers will find that a dynamic coastal destination awaits. A great base to discover some of the countries most attractive ports and a departure point of the famous imperial cities tour. Casablanca is also well situated to explore Ben Slimane – the place to visit for more rural pursuits and the renowned Boulaouane vineyards to the south which produce the celebrated rose wine.

In this economic climate Morocco offers a real opportunity to UK travellers looking for an authentic cultural experience combined with the usual holiday benefits, whether it be stimulating activities or relaxing beaches - all under year-round sunshine.
