Air Namibia is going to introduce an additional flight during their high season from Frankfurt to Windhoek. By offering this additional flight Air Namibia wants to meet the additional demand to Namibia. From 1st of June until 10th of November 2010 passengers can take one of Air Namibia’s daily overnight flights from Frankfurt to the capital of Namibia. All flights out of Frankfurt are operated with a modern Airbus A340. The aircraft consists of 32 Business Class seats und 246 Economy Class seats. Tickets for this seasonal flight can already be booked.

From Windhoek passengers can take a connecting flight to destinations such as Luanda (Angola), Maun (Botswana), Victoria-Falls (Zimbabwe), Cape Town and Johannesburg (South Africa). From Johannesburg passengers can then continue their journey to Lusaka (Zambia) and also to Ghana. Starting from the 25th of November 2009 Air Namibia starts operating its new regional flights from Johannesburg to Accra (Ghana). Every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday a newly leased Boeing B737-800 aircraft will take off to the Ghanaian capital. The new aircraft offers 24 seats in Business Class and 120 seats in Economy Class. This new aircraft will increase the fleet to a total number of 10: 2 Airbus (A340), 4 Boeing (B737) and 4 Beechcraft 1900.
