Vueling doubles its November passenger volume
Monday, December 14, 2009
Vueling, the new-generation airline, carried 743,888 passengers in November, more than twice the amount carried during the same period one year earlier. Seat-load factor increased by 2.3 percentage points-to 67.6%. Vueling also doubled the number of flights (from 2,999 to 6,131, year on year) and planes on its fleet, from 16 to 35.

Vueling reached the 25-million passenger mark in November, after slightly over 5 years of operations. Passenger volumes greatly increased during 2009 thanks to its merger with Clickair: as recently as in September 2008, Vueling had reached its 15-millionth passenger.
