On November 25, 2009, the recently formed hotel management and consulting company Denton Hospitality, was appointed Receiver for the financially challenged Shore Stay Suites hotel on Virginia’s Eastern Shore (26406 Lankford Hwy, Cape Charles, Virginia). Denton Hospitality will manage the hotel property through the foreclosure transition and will continue its management on behalf of the lender until a viable buyer is identified.

Tasked with managing day-to-day operations and enhancing the property’s value, Denton Hospitality will implement improved operating procedures and marketing initiatives in order to maximize revenues for the struggling property that brought casually elegant and affordable lodging to the Cape Charles area.

The 20-unit Shore Stay Suites is an all-suite hotel providing ideal lodging for weekend getaways, seasonal vacations, hunting and fishing excursions along Virginia’s Eastern Shore. Located on Route 13 in the Cape Center area, Shore Stay Suites is just north of the popular StingRay's Restaurant. The property features beautifully appointed and spacious suites, an inviting front porch with Adirondack chairs and plenty of parking. Suites feature ceramic tile baths, full kitchens with full sized appliances, and laundry facilities. Parking for boats and RV vehicles is available to guests free of charge.
