Amadeus Ireland ends 2009 on a high with five client wins

Amadeus announced five significant customer wins with leading travel agents in Ireland. Shandon Travel, Dawson Travel, Sunway Travel and Keller Travel are switching from competitor providers, bringing with them a significant proportion of the Irish travel market. Freedom Travel, a brand new travel agency in Ireland focusing on the leisure market, also decided to found its business using Amadeus as its technology provider.

In addition to the new clients, Travelbroker, a long-standing customer of Amadeus, has re-signed a five year deal. These wins follow closely on the heels of those in October, when Lee Travel, Limerick Travel, and Travelpaths migrated to Amadeus, and Heffernan’s re-signed a long term deal.
