Global Hotel brand launches sweepstakes
Hilton Hotels partners with Paramount Pictures for upcoming film “Up in the Air”

Hilton Hotels is ready for its close-up. In anticipation of one of the most talked about film releases this year, the hotelier is giving guests a chance to live the life of a global traveler with the Hilton Up in the Air Sweepstakes celebrating Paramount Pictures’ upcoming film about a frequent business traveler whose life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles and after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams. Up in the Air, from Oscar nominated director Jason Reitman, will arrive in Egypt theatres this February 2010 and Hilton Worldwide Egypt will be hosting a Movie Premiere night for its top accounts and team members.

Scenes of the film were shot at multiple Hilton hotels and signature Hilton products and amenities are used throughout. Props designed for the movie include a Hilton HHonors Diamond VIP card made for George Clooney’s character, Ryan Bingham.

Hilton is giving away one million Hilton HHonors points, Hilton HHonors Diamond VIP status, a trip to Paris and other prizes. Beginning November 3rd, travelers who book a Hilton stay at Hilton.com/UpintheAir will be entered for a chance to win a selection of prizes inspired by Bingham. Any guest who makes a booking for a Hilton hotel stay through Hilton.com between November 3, 2009 and January 11, 2010 will automatically be entered into the Hilton Up in the Air Sweepstakes for a chance to win both the grand prize as well as the prize-of-the-week. Winners could receive a fast track to the world of travel privileges experienced by the film’s main character and other Hilton HHonors VIP members.
