Danish travel search engine Momondo was launched in Norway
Momondo co-operation with Norwegian TV2

Norway's largest commercial TV station wishes to contribute to make Momondo the most preferred online flight comparison tool in Norway. This happens through integrating Momondo.com into the website of TV2 Norway followed by a launch of a TV campaign nationwide in Norway.
”With its comprehensive and user-friendly search functions Momondo.com is a leading player in the online travel search community, and is therefore an exciting partner for tv2.no. We welcome the co-operation," states Trine Fjellberg Falnes, head of TV2's web-department.
This co-operation means that Momondo’s various flight, hotels and car rental comparisons are available on tv2.no’s new travel site from the 21. of January 2010. During the spring, TV 2 will continue to work with online travel, and the new travel site will be built around Momondo’s advanced search technology. A similar agreement was concluded between Momondo and one of Norway's largest online newspaper, Nettavisen, in the spring 2009. For users of tv2.no it means that now, one is just a few clicks away from the broadest price comparison for flights in the world.
"The agreement with tv2.no is consistent with our international plans. Momondo is a Danish company with an international product and our market lays therefore also outside of Denmark. The idea behind Momondo has always been to create the same value regardless of whether users are from Denmark, Norway, USA or Spain, for example" says Partner in Momondo, Martin Lumbye.
The co-operation was concluded shortly after Norway's largest newspaper, Verdens Gang (VG) and the Consumer Council of Norway independently rated Momondo the best player on the market though two major studies.
