Bestway Tours & Safaris has announced two new tours for 2010, including a “Culinary Tour of South India” on which guests can learn about the exotic spices and foods across India that captivate many lovers of Indian cuisine.

Travellers can explore colorful India and discover culinary traditions that excite lovers of Indian cuisine on Bestway Tours & Safaris’ “Culinary Tour of South India.” The 19-day escorted vacation starts in Bombay and winds its way to important cities of southern India with visits to Kovalam, Periyar, Cochin, Thalassery, Mysore, Bangalore and Chennai.

It features cooking shows and demonstrations by well-known Indians chefs, 36 meals, all international and domestic airfare, including roundtrip between US/Canada and India, first-class hotel accommodations, with air-conditioned land transportation. Escorted by the well-known chef of Vancouver’s renowned “Salam Bombay” restaurant, the tour cost is US$4995 includes international airfare from Vancouver, Canada.  The tour can be customized to suit travelers’ specific interests.

On this unique tour,guests gain a perspective on world history - from the ancient times of the Egyptian Pharaohs to the Arabian mythology of the Arabian Nights, to the modern city state of Singapore. This 35-day journey features a four-day cruise down the Nile River with visits to Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and Sharm-el-Sheik, Egypt, followed by visits to Amman and Petra, Jordan and Dubai. From Dubai, guests will board their luxury yacht for a 20-day cruise across the Arabian Sea and Indian Oceans with visits to Oman, India, Malaysia and Singapore.
