Jonathan Wigley, Chairman of Absolute KBJ Hotel Services India and CEO of Absolute Hotel Services Thailand announces four more new hotels in India as members of U Hotels & Resorts. All four properties are part of the development and expansion of KBJ Hotels Limited India and due to open within Q3 and Q4 2011.

75-room KBJ Stupas, Kushinagar, 75-room KBJ Five Colours Bodhgaya, 75-room KBJ Touchstone Khajuraho and 111-room KBJ La Casa Bella Goa will be branded as members of U Hotels & Resorts adding to 133-room KBJ Grand Varanasi which was announced late last year. All hotels and resorts will feature luxury amenities, innovative food and beverage concepts, meeting rooms and facilities for leisure travelers.

Following the Buddhist circuit, Kushinagar is 53 km west of Gorakhpur and respected as the site of Buddha’s Mahaparinirvana and is known as the holy site for his final liberation while Bodhgaya in the Indian state of Bihar is famous for being the place of Gautama Buddha’s attainment of enlightenment.  Bodhgaya is the most important of the main four pilgrimage sites where Mahabodhi Temple is located and is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Khajuraho is a town in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, southeast of New Delhi and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India for famous temples and erotic sculptures. The Khajuraho group of monuments has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and also considered to be one of the seven wonders of India.

Goa, on the west coast of India is a land of swaying palms, miles of golden sands, lush greenery, an incredible cultural heritage, magnificent churches, temples and monuments and a unique cultural synthesis of the east and west.

“These future opening hotels in the most cultural destinations in India will further strengthen the U Hotels & Resorts branded portfolio in the country. We look forward to delivering authentic hospitality and unique experience to business and leisure travellers” said Mr. Jonathan Wigley, Chairman of Absolute KBJ Hotel Services India Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Mohit Kamboj, Managing Director of KBJ Group, said “We see a huge requirement of quality hotel rooms in these locations and significant growth of visitors from South East Asia following the Buddhist circuit. With the U Hotels & Resorts brand essence and requirement of specification make it faster and easier for us to develop more hotels to serve the need of market, based on our total investment funds, because the brand is all about the unique concept of service delivery.”
