Pan Dei Palais, the historic mansion turned boutique hotel located in the heart of Saint-Tropez, announces its membership with the prestigious Virtuoso travel network.

Virtuoso is the industry’s leading leisure travel network and is a by-invitation-only organization. Virtuoso is comprised of more than 6,000 elite travel advisors associated with over 300 agencies in 22 countries in North and South America, the Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand, as well as over 1,000 of the world’s best travel providers and premier destinations.

“The acknowledgment of the hotel’s dedication to service and luxury by this highly respected network, is truly rewarding,” says Severine Petilaire, Managing Director. “We will continue to maintain the highest standards for our staff and management as well as those put before us by Virtuoso.”

Pan Dei Palais, a 12-guestroom hotel provides privacy and a refined haven in the heart of Saint-Tropez. The atmosphere evokes a timeless sense of sophisticated exoticism, serenity and relaxation, appointed with Asian-inspired design accents and all the modern amenities seasoned travelers have come to expect. In addition, an exclusive Valmont Spa was opened in May of 2009 offering a variety of treatments, which can be experienced in the tranquility of a sumptuous spa room, guestrooms, or even aboard the Pan Dei yacht.

The mansion, originally built in 1835 by French General Allard for his wife Princess Bannu Pan Dei was transformed into a boutique hotel in 2006. Located at 52 Boulevard Gambetta several meters from the Place des Lices, it is open year round, something uncommon in Saint-Tropez. The property consists of 12 rooms and suites, an outdoor swimming pool lined with day beds, a Turkish bath, and a renowned restaurant serving Japanese-influenced French fusion cuisine by Chef Satoshi Kubota. The architects Thomas Paturle and Michel Lefevbre and interior designer Francoise Piault, kept the spirit of the family home while updating the accommodations with every modern amenity including with Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs, and air-conditioning. The 12 rooms can be converted into suites or private apartments as required and the house can be rented as a whole, transforming into private villa experience. Rates start at 380 Euros per night in the spring and summer.
