In partnership with Mondial Assistance
Air France and Allianz offer travellers the first-ever online safe deposit system
Tuesday, February 23, 2010

On 17 February 2010, Air France and Allianz, in partnership with Mondial Assistance, will be introducing the first-ever online safe deposit service for travellers, a unique solution combining the secure storage of documents with assistance services - Allianz Protect.  Allianz Protect is a convenient online service allowing customers to travel knowing that their documents are in complete safety.

Accessible from the airfrance.com website, this safe deposit system will be available in four languages (French, English, German, Dutch) with round-the-clock from any PC with Internet access. Customers will be able to archive, consult and retrieve all their electronic documents of both a personal and professional nature, from any location. Particularly useful for customers in the event of an administrative or medical emergency, the online safe deposit system will enable customers to authorize a designated person to access documents in their safe and to enable doctors from Mondial Assistance to provide remote treatment. This innovative digital service can handle all types of files including photo and video formats.

Two of the most attractive offers available on the market have been specially designed by Allianz for Air France:
- Protec’fly
- Protec’fly Premium which offers unlimited capacity.

“Air France is the first airline to offer a digital safe deposit system. Through this partnership with Allianz, Air France provides its customers or future passengers a novel solution for managing their documents, wherever they are in the world”, said Patrick Roux, head of marketing at Air France KLM.

“Allianz, Europe’s leading insurance and financial services company, has teamed up with Mondial Assistance to develop a unique solution for Air France, combining a system for the secure storage of personal documents with assistance services tailored to travellers’ needs", explained  Dominique Monera, Head of Marketing Prospective and Innovation at Allianz France.
