Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating segment of Interval Leisure Group, announced the addition of Mjejane Game Reserve to its global exchange network. The property is a breathtaking 10,000 acre (4,000 hectare) reserve within the world famous Kruger National Park.

Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Scott D. Sopher as executive chef for Naples Bay Resort, the luxurious property surrounding a marina in Naples, Florida. Rikki Bopara, general manager for the resort, made the announcement. Scott Sopher was previously executive chef and equity partner of Cin Cin Mediterranean Cuisine, a Fort Myers restaurant serving cuisine inspired by the diverse cultures and flavors of the Mediterranean. He has also served as executive chef for Traders of Bonita Springs, Florida. Earlier in his culinary career while based in Asheville, North Carolina, Chef Sopher refined his culinary skills while employed as sous chef for The Richmond Inn. While in Asheville, he participated in prestigious culinary training programs at the landmark Biltmore Estate.

The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Rajiv Kaul as President of The Leela Group. In his new role, Kaul will be responsible for the new launches that the group is planning as part of its expansion, with new hotels opening in New Delhi (2010) and Chennai (2011). A seasoned hotelier, Kaul began his career in the hospitality industry with The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts in 1978, finally becoming Vice President of Oberoi Hotels Egypt. He then moved to Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces where he was Vice President of Taj Mumbai Hotels, and General Manager of The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower. Kaul joined The Leela Palace, Hotels & Resorts as Senior Vice President of the group in 2006 and was responsible for six operating properties in Mumbai, Bangalore, Kerala, Goa, Gurgaon and Udaipur, as well as planning for the new properties in New Delhi and Chennai.
