Sixth annual Luxury Travel Mart
Air Partner builds its presence in Russia
Wednesday, March 17, 2010

Air Partner, a world leading provider of private aviation services, participated at The Luxury Travel Mart at The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow, as it looks to bolster its presence in the region. The sixth annual Luxury Travel Mart provides luxury travel service professionals with a unique opportunity to showcase their services. It has already become one of the most successful business-to-business networking events in the niche luxury travel sector in Russia.

Participants include private aviation charter companies, five-star hotels and resorts, elite car companies and cruise and yacht charter companies, all offering top-end lifestyle products.

Air Partner has been active in Russia and the CIS countries for many years. Expanding its presence in the region is a key part of the company’s business strategy. The Russian charter market was booming pre-crisis and while there has been a slight reduction in use, as elsewhere, the long term trend is upwards for Russian and CIS users, owing to their geographical location, the security issue and their travel preferences.

“High net worth individuals in Russia and the CIS have expectations of a service level far above average,” said Air Partner Sales Director, David Macdonald. “There is an understandable demand amongst extremely wealthy clientele for the very highest level of customer care.  They appreciate the time saving benefits private air travel affords and will continue to use private jets, mainly wide-bodied long range aircraft, for business and pleasure. Crucially, of course, they value confidentiality and customer service, which Air Partner provides as standard.”
