Cornell's Center for Hospitality Research
Schneider Electric becomes partner of CHR
Wednesday, March 31, 2010
Cornell's Center for Hospitality Research (CHR) announced Schneider Electric, a global energy specialist, has become the center's newest partner.

"Energy efficiency gains are critical to all businesses and Schneider Electric's energy management leadership allows us to be a unique partner to CHR's efforts in the hospitality industry," said Tony Gentile, Vice President, Installation Systems & Control, Schneider Electric. "The CHR is a logical fit with Schneider Electric's goal of helping people do more while using less energy." Gentile will join the CHR advisory board. Each CHR partner participates in advisory board meetings and has a seat at all CHR Roundtables.

"We are excited to welcome Schneider Electric as a partner and glad to have Tony Gentile as a member of our advisory board," said Professor Rohit Verma, CHR executive director. "With their focus on energy efficiency, Schneider Electric will bring a new focus to our board."

In addition to its products and services to support the energy and infrastructure market, Schneider Electric focuses on electrical reliability and efficiency in industrial, residential, and commercial buildings, as well as in data centers and networks.
