A successful year’s service from London Gatwick to Madrid
Air Europa: Business gets better with age
Tuesday, April 13, 2010

Air Europa, Spain’s largest privately owned airline, celebrated a successful year of flights between London Gatwick and Madrid on 29 March 2010.

“With only a year’s trading in the UK market, we are extremely proud of the progress Air Europa has made since the launch of the London Gatwick to Madrid service” says Colin Stewart, UK General Manager, Air Europa.

“Now firmly established in the psyche of UK holidaymakers, our competitive pricing and commitment to excellent customer service makes Air Europa a match for even our closest rivals.”

Billed as the British holidaymaker’s ‘gateway to Latin America’, the burgeoning twice-daily service, coupled with short connection times, provides passengers easy onward travel to such popular holiday destinations as Havana, Buenos Aires, Punta Cana and Santo Domingo.

The success of 2009 has led to the expansion of the London-based customer service team and the launch of two new routes to Lima and Miami on 22 February and 19 March.
