Turkish Airlines introduces Istanbul-Thessaloniki flights

Turkish Airlines<.> will provide an air link between Istanbul and Thessaloniki<.> starting March 22.
Leading officials of the company and 70 Turkish journalists will be on the first plane to land at Thessaloniki`s Macedonia airport and welcomed with a special ceremony. The carrier will present its flight schedule to northern Greek travel agents and reporters in a press conference at the Macedonia Palace hotel.
Turkish Airlines was established in 1933 and in March 1998 joined the Qualiflyer Group, which includes the firms Swissair, Sabena and France`s AOM.
The Turkish carrier flies to 111 destinations, 36 of which are domestic.
